The Golden Apple 2013

IK Fyris curling invites you to a curling bonspiel with banquet in Uppsala, Sweden, February 1 to 3, 2013

The Golden Apple, an international bonspiel for any four curlers in Uppsala’s curling arena (Relita Curling rink). Maximum 16 teams. All teams will play 5 matches with the first match on Friday evening.
On Saturday evening we will have a banquet with music and dancing.
The bonspiel will wind up with a prize ceremony at about16.00 on Sunday.
The application fee is 2600 SEK (290 €) per team (4 players) including lunch on Saturday and a banquet on Saturday evening. One extra player on the team costs 400 SEK (45 €) including food. Extra banquet tickets are 350 SEK (40 €) each. Last day for application is January 19th. NOTE - we have moved the deadline from January 12th (as in an earlier version of the invitation)to Jan 19th!

Hotel rooms can be booked at any hotel in Uppsala. Suggested hotels are the Scandic Hotel Uppsala Nord, Scandic Hotel Uplandia (downtown) or Hotel Uppsala (downtown). Booking is done most easily by contacting the hotel directly.
Stockholm-Arlanda Airport is situated only 35 km from Uppsala, and is easily accessible by car, train (“SL-tåg towards Uppsala” – not Arlanda Express) or bus.
