Format of play
Teams drawn into seven 'Qualifying Groups' of four teams and play the other 3 teams in their group. Teams are then ranked and allocated to seven 'Final Groups' where they again play the other 3 teams in their group.

Additional Information
Ice session times are 1h 45min with a bell at 1h 30min. Teams will in general play in alternate sessions (i.e. 3.00pm & 6.30pm on Friday or at 4.45pm & 8.15pm), except in some cases on the Saturday afternoon subject to ranking position.
