Do you want to have a great winter get-away to a special place and enjoy the company of a friendly group of women curlers at a fun bonspiel? Come with us to the 84th Sewell Trophy Women’s Bonspiel held at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello, Quebec Sunday, January 8th – Wednesday, January 11th, 2017. Individuals, pairs, and trios are welcome. We can help complete your team. Full teams are welcome too, of course.
A chartered bus leaves Toronto (pick-up locations to be arranged) Sunday morning, January 8th, arriving at Montebello in the late afternoon. Return departs Montebello Wednesday, January 11th at 1 p.m. and arrives in Toronto at approx. 7 p.m.
The bus is half the fun, so please join us! Hope to see you on the bus !!!!!!

Program
Arrival Reception on Sunday
One to two games on each of Monday and Tuesday (Three games guaranteed)
Reception, Banquet and Entertainment Tuesday evening
Finals, Wednesday morning
Bonspiel (Spectacular Log Curling Club built in 1931, four sheets)
Entry fee: $125.00 per team ($31.25 per curler).
Each skip submits the team’s bonspiel entry form directly to the hotel and pays for the team.
Accommodation
The approx. cost is $700 per curler (includes taxes) - based on Double Occupancy (3 nights).
Teams have two rooms – two beds per room. Montebello will try to make them adjoining. Each skip submits the hotel registration form directly to the hotel for the team and pays the deposit.
Hotel rate includes Arrival Reception, Three Buffet Breakfasts (Monday – Wednesday), Three Dinners, (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Reception & Banquet), use of the sports facilities, (swimming pool, hot tub, skating), sleigh ride (depending on group size and weather)
Additional Costs
The winning teams provide snacks & drinks in their rooms to the losing teams (our way of buying a drink). Each team will split up the list of items to bring - a sample list will be provided.
Hotel Activities – rental equipment (XC skis, snowshoes, skates), dogsledding, spa treatments
Transportation
Bus cost is approx. $150 per curler (from Toronto to Montebello and return).
Pick-up locations will be arranged. At pick-up location 75 Wynford Heights Crescent limited underground parking is available. Please carpool or arrange to be dropped off at pick-up location. We often pick up curlers in Scarborough, Nappanee and Kingston. If driving, parking is available at Montebello. You will get more information on the bus from Gail Ann.
Additional Information
What to bring – Curling shoes and broom, warm clothes (rink is colder than most clubs), swimsuit. Something “dressy” for the banquet - and your dancing shoes & singing voice!

Total cost is approx. $880 plus the cost of the snacks & drinks you bring. $730 without bus.
